VALENCIA Marine Services provides independent yacht surveying, naval architecture, marine engineering, technical consultancy and marine project management services for yacht owners, buyers, brokers, captains, insurers, yacht managers, law firms and marine professionals in Spain and throughout the Mediterranean.
Our work is focused on clear, independent and technically grounded advice before purchasing, insuring, valuing, repairing, refitting or managing a yacht.
We assist clients with pre-purchase, condition and valuation, insurance and damage surveys; grounding, collision, corrosion and electrolysis inspections; haul-out inspections; sea trials; marine technical reports; naval architecture; marine engineering; technical due diligence; and yacht refit and repair project management.
PRE-PURCHASE YACHT SURVEYS
We provide independent pre-purchase yacht surveys for buyers who need a detailed technical assessment before completing a purchase.
Depending on scope, the inspection may include hull and structure, deck and superstructure, keel, rudder and steering, propulsion, machinery, electrical, fuel, water and bilge systems, safety and navigation equipment, deck gear, documentation, previous repairs and general maintenance.
Haul-out inspection and sea trial attendance can also be included when available and agreed.
CONDITION & VALUATION SURVEYS
We assess yacht condition and provide independent valuation support for owners, buyers, insurers, banks and brokers.
The survey may consider condition, age, equipment, machinery, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, documentation, defects and market information.
INSURANCE YACHT SURVEYS
We provide yacht condition surveys for insurance, policy renewals and risk assessment.
The inspection can focus on vessel condition, safety-related items, machinery, hull, systems, maintenance status and other areas requested by the insurer or client.
YACHT DAMAGE SURVEYS
VALENCIA Marine Services provides independent technical inspections following grounding, collision, water ingress, structural damage, corrosion, electrolysis, machinery damage or other marine incidents.
We can document damage, assess affected areas, review probable technical causes, recommend further investigation and help define the repair scope.
Our services support parties involved in marine claims or technical disputes.
NAVAL ARCHITECTURE & MARINE ENGINEERING
We provide naval architecture and marine engineering for recreational and commercial vessels.
Services may include technical consultancy, vessel modifications, structural review, stability-related work, repair engineering, technical documentation and design review.
YACHT REFIT & REPAIR PROJECT MANAGEMENT
We provide independent project management for yacht refit, repair and technical upgrade projects.
Our role can include defining scope, reviewing quotations, coordinating shipyards and contractors, monitoring progress and workmanship, identifying technical issues, supporting owner-supplier communication and assisting with project close-out.
This service is particularly useful for owners and yacht managers requiring independent technical representation during repair or refit work.
TECHNICAL DUE DILIGENCE
For yacht purchases, major repairs and refits, we can review technical information, survey findings, repair history, photographs, quotations, reports and documentation to identify key risks before commitment.
MARINE TECHNICAL REPORTS
We prepare professional marine technical reports in English, Spanish or both languages, depending on the assignment.
Reports may support purchase decisions, insurance, valuation, damage assessment, repair planning, claims, legal review, technical due diligence or project management.
