Manta Diving Valencia is a federation-affiliated dive center located in Puerto de Sagunto, with direct access to some of the most interesting dive sites along the Valencian coast. Specializing in training according to FEDAS (Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities) standards, we offer courses for all levels, introductory dives, guided dives, and snorkeling activities. Our location allows us to reach dive sites in just a few minutes by boat.

Sagunto Coast

• Port Breakwaters: ideal for beginners, depths ranging from 6 to 12 meters with abundant marine life
• Roca de la Barra: a rocky formation with caves that are home to groupers, conger eels, and moray eels
• Canet Posidonia Meadow: areas where you can spot seahorses, cuttlefish, and rockfish
• Almenara Seabed: mixed sand and rock seabed, perfect for intermediate divers

Coast from Castellón to Valencia

• Seabeds off Oropesa del Mar and Benicàssim with spectacular rock formations
• Artificial reefs off the coast of Castellón

FEDAS Courses

Beginner Courses

• Introductory Dive: 2-hour session including theory, shallow-water exercises, and a dive to 6 meters
• 1-Star Diver (B-1E): entry-level certification with theory, practical training, and 5 open-water dives to a depth of 20 meters
• 2-Star Diver (B-2E): intermediate level with autonomy down to 30 meters

Advanced

• 3-Star Diver (B-3E): dives up to 40 meters and group leadership
• Specialties: night diving, underwater navigation, underwater photography, nitrox

Snorkeling Activities

• Guided Snorkeling: tours along the rocky coastline with an instructor who identifies marine species
• Family Snorkeling: activity for children ages 6 and up with children’s equipment
• Night Snorkeling: Observation of nocturnal marine life with waterproof flashlights
• Interpretive Tours: Activity combined with explanations about the Mediterranean ecosystem

Equipment

• Training classroom with capacity for 15 students
• Complete rental equipment: 5 mm and 7 mm wetsuits, regulators, BCDs, and tanks
• On-site compressor for air refills
• Rigid-hulled inflatable boat (RHIB) for locations far from the coast

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between FEDAS and PADI? Both are internationally recognized certifications. FEDAS is part of CMAS, while PADI is a private organization. Both certifications are valid for diving worldwide.

Can I dive if I have ear problems? You must be able to equalize pressure. If you have chronic problems, consult your doctor. A medical certificate is required for federation-certified courses.

What should I bring to a first-time dive? Just a swimsuit, a towel, and a desire to have fun. All equipment is included.

Do you offer weekend trips? Yes, on Saturday and Sunday mornings, as long as sea conditions permit. Weekday trips are also available upon request for groups.
