Guided jet ski tours (no license required) from Santa Ponsa, Camp de Mar, and Cala d'Or
Ride Experiences organizes jet ski tours along the coast of Mallorca from three of its own bases: Santa Ponsa, Camp de Mar, and Cala d’Or. The tours are led by a certified instructor, and you don’t need a boating license, making them an easy way to discover coves that can’t be reached by land. They use 2023 Sea-Doo GTX jet skis, which are inspected daily.
| Base | Route Destinations |
|---|---|
| Santa Ponsa | Cala Llamps, Cala Fornells, Peguera, Cala Monjo, and the island of Sa Dragonera |
| Camp de Mar | The same coves in the southwest and Sa Dragonera |
| Cala d’Or | Cala Ferrera, Cala Mondragó, and Cala Serena |
Ride Experiences also rents water toys and organizes ATV tours around the island.
Some general tips for enjoying the tour safely:
The best time to go is from May to October, when the sea is calmest in the morning. Sunset tours are the most popular in the summer, so it’s best to book in advance.
Starting from Santa Ponsa and Camp de Mar, the route winds along one of Mallorca’s most rugged coastlines: Cala Fornells and Peguera, with their pine trees reaching down to the water; Cala Llamps and its turquoise waters; Cala Monjo; and the silhouette of Sa Dragonera, the island that marks the western tip of Mallorca and is a natural park. It is a coastline with many hidden spots that can only be reached by sea.
From Cala d’Or, the route passes through Cala Ferrera, Cala Serena, and Cala Mondragó—the latter located within a natural park, featuring crystal-clear waters and a low-lying coastline of rocks and pine forests. It’s a quieter area, perfect for those who want to combine jet-skiing with postcard-perfect scenery.
For couples and groups of friends looking for a unique vacation activity, for those who have never driven a jet ski and want to try it with an instructor, and for those who want to see Mallorca’s coastline from the sea in a short amount of time.
