El Cabo a Fondo organizes guided boat tours along the coast of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park (Almería) in Zodiac-style RIBs. These are 1-hour-and-30-minute tours with an expert guide, a stop for swimming and snorkeling, and a family-friendly approach: children become little geologists who uncover the secrets of the volcanic cliffs. It is a registered active tourism company (RTA AT/AL/00135).

The Routes

Sirens’ Reef Route

From Las Salinas and La Fabriquilla toward San José: salt flats with flamingos, the Cabo de Gata Lighthouse, the Sirens’ Reef, Vela Blanca, Cala Carbón, La Media Luna, and Mónsul, the setting for movies such as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It ends at the beaches of El Barronal.

Las Negras and the Volcanoes Route

From Las Negras to La Isleta del Moro: Cueva del Cuervo and Cueva de las Palomas, the cliffs of La Molata, San Ramón Castle, El Playazo de Rodalquilar with its gold mines, crystallized lava columns, the Cala del Bergantín integral reserve, and La Polacra.

The Pirates’ Route

From La Isleta del Moro to San José: a fishing village with ancient traditions such as the “moruna” dance, Arco Beach, Cala del Embarcadero, San Felipe Castle, and the headland from which the first Spanish rocket was launched in the 1960s.
