More Services for Your Boat

In addition to upholstery, the company offers boat and awning cleaning, winterization, stainless steel structures, marine carpentry, polishing, antifouling, sail repair, maintenance, and even a skipper service. A practical option for boat owners who prefer a single point of contact for various jobs.

How They Work

Their model is on-board service: technical visit, measurements, and installation right on the boat, coordinating with the marina and port authority when necessary. They serve all ports in Mallorca and, with advance planning, also on the Spanish mainland and other destinations. Outside the nautical world, they upholster sofas and home furnishings, cars, motorcycles, airplanes, and helicopters.

Practical Guide: When to Replace Your Boat’s Upholstery

• Open seams or thread burned by the sun: this is the first warning sign; you can re-sew it before the fabric tears.
• Soggy or smelly foam: Replace it with quick-drying open-cell foam.
• Cracked or sticky vinyl: Sun and salt degrade it; it’s best to replace it before water seeps into the foam.
• Faded or porous bimini canopy fabric: It no longer protects against the sun and rain.
• Take advantage of the winter: With the boat out of the water, the turnaround time is shorter than in the spring.

How to Care for Upholstery Between Seasons

• Rinse outdoor cushions with fresh water after sailing and let them dry upright.
• Use covers when the boat is moored: they significantly extend the life of vinyl and acrylic.
• Clean mold as soon as it appears using products specifically designed for marine fabrics.
• Ventilate the interior in winter to prevent moisture buildup in mattresses and sofas.

Which Fabric to Choose

Area	Common Material	Why
Exterior exposed to the sun	Marine vinyl or acrylic fabric	Resists UV rays, salt, and moisture
Sun deck	Quick-drying foam with acrylic cover	Does not retain water
Interior	Technical fabrics or marine leather	Comfort and easy cleaning
Awnings	Acrylic canvas	Breathable and durable
