Introductory diving courses, SSI and PADI courses, and dives at Dragonera, El Toro, and Malgrats aboard a trimaran
Mallorca Diving Adventure is a diving school in Port d’Andratx (Plaça Nova), in southwestern Mallorca. It was founded in 2019 by a team of divers with many years of experience, led by Chema Rodríguez. Their motto, “We seek adventures where others only dream,” sums it up well: introductory dives, certified courses, dives for certified divers, snorkeling, and paddleboarding—all in a safe, comfortable, and fun environment.
This is what sets this school apart: its boat is, according to them, the only trimaran dedicated to diving in all of Mallorca. A trimaran is more stable and has more space than a regular boat, so it’s more comfortable to get ready, and you’re much less likely to feel seasick. The boat is moored next to the center, and the facilities are accessible for people with limited mobility.
From Port d’Andratx, they head out to the marine reserves in the southwest:
They work with SSI and PADI and let you choose. Their recommendation is SSI, because its training is more interactive and up-to-date.
| Level | Course |
|---|---|
| Try It | Discover Scuba Diving / Introductory Dive |
| Beginner | Scuba Diver (2 days) and Open Water Diver (3–4 days, up to 18 m) |
| Advanced | Advanced Open Water Diver and specialties |

The theory portion can be completed online before you arrive, so you can spend your vacation diving. The Open Water course combines sessions in a pool or calm waters with four open-water dives and a multiple-choice exam that, depending on the school, children as young as 10 can pass.
The introductory dive counts as the first day of the course if you decide to continue.
