Soller Divers - Centro de buceo PADI y SSI en Port de Sóller

Soller Divers is a 5-star PADI and SSI dive center in Port de Sóller, nestled in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains on the northwest coast of Mallorca. It’s right on the waterfront and just steps from the boat, so there’s no need to lug your gear around, and it offers free parking for customers. It’s an Aqualung Partner and a member of the Mallorca Dive Center Association. It offers introductory dives, all PADI and SSI certifications, daily trips, technical diving, freediving, and snorkeling, and also organizes a liveaboard trip to the Maldives.

Diving Trips

Between April and October, it offers daily half-day trips, with one or two dives, to the best sites in the northwest:

• Sa Foradada: 4 miles from the port, a cape with a hole at the top. Large boulders with octopuses, moray eels, conger eels, and groupers, and a Posidonia meadow with schools of salps. One of the most beautiful dives in the Tramuntana region.
• Cova del Cap Gros: next to the lighthouse, at the entrance to the harbor. You anchor at about 9–10 m next to the cliff. The wall drops to 18 m toward the cave entrance, with beautiful blue backlighting; more experienced divers reach 27 m, where there is an ancient petrified anchor.

What to choose?

• Children ages 8–9: Bubblemaker in the pool.

• If you come often: the 12- or 30-dive packages are much more affordable.

What a Day of Diving Is Like

1. You arrive at the center, at the harbor, and set up your gear without having to carry it.
2. Briefing on the dive site based on the group’s skill level.
3. Boat trip to Sa Foradada, Cap Gros, or another spot along the northwest coast.
4. One or two dives, then return to the harbor by midday.

Why Dive in the Tramuntana

The northwest coast of Mallorca is rugged and largely undeveloped. Underwater, it’s just the same: walls, large boulders, caves, and Posidonia meadows. There are fewer boats than in the south, and the seabed is very well preserved.
