How they work

Their method consists of six steps and is designed to ensure there are no surprises on the bill:

1. Initial information: boat, location, equipment, symptoms, and requested work.
2. Technical review of the information received.
3. Inspection or diagnosis, with the cost communicated before it is performed.
4. Estimate for approval.
5. Work within the authorized scope; any scope expansion is discussed beforehand.
6. Closure with the work completed and any observations.

• Operating hours.
• Alarms or error codes that appear.
• Whether the engine starts and whether the boat is seaworthy.
• Recent repairs and the location of the boat.

The Masnou workshop is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It’s best to call ahead to confirm which location is handling your service request.
